Update and Revision of the current City of Hermiston Investment Policy
Summary and Background
Over the last 18 months there has been significant positive movement of interest rates (both short and long term) in the investment markets.
A revision of the Investment Policy now will allow the City to better position its investable funds in a more structured and deliberate manner to optimize any opportunities to increase investment earnings while still staying focused on minimizing risk.
