Since 1995, this ordinance has not been actively enforced. Responding to security alarms has not been a burden to the police department.

Recommendation

Repeal Existing Alarm Ordinance.

Adopt Ordinance 2280 repealing Chapter 95 of the Hermiston Code of Ordinances.
