TITLE: Resolution No. 2150- Supporting the League of Oregon Cities Bylaw Revision to Create a People of Color Caucus |

Support the League of Cities in adopting a Caucus of Color within its bylaws.
Summary and Background
There has been activity among city officials of Color across Oregon to ask the League of Oregon Cities to form a "Caucus of Color" to achieve the following objectives:
- To serve as a resource and provide guidance and leadership for the League’s initiatives
- To inform, educate, and empower local governments to address issues and policies that directly affect people of color.
- To leverage collective strength to inform, educate, and empower people of color to serve as a resource to local government and state leaders and community organizations on issues and polices affecting people of color, and to serve in positions of leadership in local and state government.
- To inform the League of Oregon Cities policy agenda on issues and policies that directly affect people of color.
Tie-In to Council Goals:
This ties in to one of our core values which is inclusiveness.
