Acquisition of Property for City Hall Project
Summary and Background
As a portion of the project to construct a new city hall, additional parking is needed. In order to fulfill that requirement the Lanham building property is needed. This will also enhance public parking overall in the downtown area.
Tie-In to Council Goals:
In the 2019 Council Goals Developing a City Hall project was adopted.
Fiscal Information
The agreed upon price is $400,000 based on the confirmation of an appraisal. There is also the ability leave the transaction if funding is not provided.
