Subject

Appointment of an additional Municipal Court Judge Pro-tem.

Summary and Background

In 2015, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2006 appointing three Municipal Court Judges Pro-tem as directed in the 2015 Hermiston City Charter.

Due to new conflicts of interest and availability, the Hermiston Municipal Court needs an additional Municipal Court Judge Pro-tem.

As a Hermiston native and Hermiston High School graduate, Cameron Bendixsen is eager to give back to the community where he was raised. He joined the firm after graduating with cum laude honors from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan in the spring of 2013. Prior to practice, Mr. Bendixsen clerked for a Umatilla County Circuit Court judge and he serves on the Board of Eastern Oregon Mission and other various community and church organizations.
