Summary and Background
Each year the city prepares a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report ("CAFR") that details the financial position of the city for the fiscal year.
This award recognizes Hermiston's CAFR at the national level for the city's governmental accounting and financial reporting and in demonstrating a constructive "spirit of full disclosure" to clearly communicate our financial story.
This is the 27th consecutive year the city has been recognized by GFOA for excellence in governmental accounting and financial reporting.
