This is a discussion of the required annual approval/re-adoption of the City of Hermiston's Financial Policies..
Summary and Background
The City Council last approved the City of Hermiston's Financial Policies on November 14, 2016. Due to a change in the management of the Finance department in the fall of 2017, it would appear there was no action taken to approve/re-adopt the financial policies in 2017. This action requested will satisfy the policy requirement for annual approval/re-adoption of the financial policies (with no revisions) as approved on November 14, 2016.
